• Sagar Pandey (1972-2022) was an Indian actor. He was known to be the body double of the famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Sagar Pandey died after he suffered a cardiac arrest while working out at the gym on 30 September 2022.

• Sagar Pandey shifted from his hometown in UP to Mumbai in the early 1990s, where he unsuccessfully tried to start his acting career in Bollywood.

• In 1998, Sagar Pandey got a major break when he acted in the Hindi film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai as Salman Khan’s body double.

  

• According to several sources, Sagar Pandey has worked as Salman Khan’s body double in more than fifty Bollywood films like Dabangg, Tubelight, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and many more.

  It was a really bad time for me. I had to go through a monetary crunch as no one was ready to give me work due to the 2020 corona virus lockdown. I make most of my money through shows and stage performances and with the COVID lockdown, I could not earn much. However, things are better now, as now I am once again getting offers from Bollywood and Bhojpur film industry.”

• In February 2022, Sagar Pandey performed at Bollywood Sunday Night, which was organized in Dubai.

  

• On 30 September 2022, while working out at the gym, Sagar Pandey suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed after which he was rushed to the Hindu Hruday Samrat Balasaheb Thackerey Trauma Care Municipal Hospital by his gym instructors; however, he was declared dead upon arrival by the doctors. ^[3]Hindustan Times Talking about it, his friend said,
  

  Sagar was working in the gym when he suddenly collapsed. He was immediately taken to Hindu Hruday Samrat Balasaheb Thackerey Trauma Care Municipal Hospital at Jogeshwari East, Mumbai. That is where he was declared dead. I am quite shocked. He was perfectly fit and healthy. He was too young to pass away. His age must have been around 45 to 50 years.”

• After Sagar Pandey’s death, Salman Khan posted an emotional post on social media in which he thanked Sagar for working with him.
