His statement led to anger in the gau rakshaks and they warned him to not enter the state assembly. In response to this, Mamman wrote a letter to the Haryana chief minister, the home minister, and the director general of police and asked them to look into the matter. In the letter, he also mentioned that if the state government did not take any action, they would be held responsible for any harm to him or his family. [14]Outlook In an interview, he talked about the issue and said,

If an MLA is not safe in this state from these fanatics, what do you expect for a common man? I, as a public representative, said we would not allow vandalism and unauthorised use of force and arms. What was wrong in it? I have written to the state government and if anything happens to me or my family, the government will be responsible for unleashing these people on us.”

  • In August 2023, Mamman’s wife, Shamshaad filed a police complaint in Gurugram police station against an unknown woman. In the FIR, she alleged the women of harassment and extortion. According to Mamman’s wife, Mamman received a call from an unknown number and when he received the call, the person on the other end told him that he was bringing his wife to their home. To this, Mamman was shocked and told the caller that his wife was already present with him. After listening to this, the caller disconnected the call, but after a while, the lady who claimed to be Mamman’s wife came outside their home and created a scene outside their house. In the FIR, she also added that her husband’s name was used in such instances earlier as well. She claimed that it was the opposition party that tried to defame her husband.
