• At the beginning of his career, he was not serious about his career and was unemployed for years. During this time, he became an alcoholic and very aggressive by nature.

  

• In 1990, he came to Mumbai from Delhi, and he started working as an assistant director.

• Initially, his family did not support him in making his career in the film industry.

• He then did his training in acting under his acting guru Robin Das. Later, he started performing in various theatre plays. He has been associated with the Hindi theatre group Prithvi Theatre for a few years.
