• Pari Bishnoi is a 2020 batch IAS officer who is posted as an SDM (Sub Divisional Magistrate) in Gangtok, Sikkim.

• Her grandfather, Gopiram Bishnoi, has served four terms as the Sarpanch (village head) of the Kakra village.

• During her college days, Pari Bishnoi began preparing for the UPSC exam. She passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) and attained a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in the field of political science while preparing for the UPSC examination.

• In 2019, she cleared the UPSC exam on her third attempt and secured a 30th All India ranking.

• Her initial goal was to become an IPS officer but did not qualify for the post in her first 2 attempts at the UPSC exam and later opted for the IAS. ^[2]YouTube – First India News

• According to Pari, while preparing for the UPSC exam, she lived like a monk and
  refrained from using social media.

• In May 2023, Pari Bishnoi got engaged to Bhavya Bishnoi, the youngest member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Haryana.

  

• In 2023, due to her father’s illness, she requested the central government for a change of her deputation from Sikkim to Haryana. In September 2023, the Haryana government granted an NOC (No Objection Certificate) for deputation to the state.
