My father died when I was nine, so my mother raised her five children on her own. She taught us about courage, determination, and never giving up—as well as to be grateful for everything we had.”

I always wanted to write a children’s book and as bullying became more prominent in our towns and I heard about it from my own kids, I really wanted to share my story to let other kids know they aren’t alone.”
“I am so honored and humbled to be named the first honorary chair of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida ‘Home for the Holidays’ fundraising event. I try to help children and families through all of the work that I do, and this is a wonderful opportunity to partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities mission and continue the work that I love in a very powerful way.”

I am both proud and humbled to represent the married women of Jordan at the coming Mrs World pageant. My parents were born and raised in Jordan and I have seen for myself the many changes that have made it possible for a woman to be in the position I am.”
She further added,
To carry this uplifting and personal history on to the Mrs World stage, along with so many beautiful and intelligent ladies from around the world, will be a life-changing experience. This journey will also give recognition to the women I represent who have been a positive force for change. I will be realizing their dream.”
My “be you” is staying true to myself, staying grounded, and being kind to others. The “love you” part, for me, is the importance of having self-respect, self-love and taking care of your mind, body and soul. “Live you, my favorite, means to live your life like every day could be the last. Don’t take things for granted, give love and spread love.”

Self-acceptance contributes to the development of a healthy self-esteem and can really affect how you live your life. It’s so important to accept who you are, your strengths AND your weaknesses. Take time for you. Take time to nurture yourself, whether it be at the gym, yoga, doing some painting, reading, or meditating. Replace negative talk with positive, kind, loving statements. Maintain a healthy lifestyle and exercise. Lastly, surround yourself with positive people.”

My mother, Hayat, stood by me all those times when kids teased me. She made me believe in myself and instilled the confidence and courage to face my challenges.”
