• Norma Nivia was raised by her parents in a middle-class Columbian household.

  

• In 1999, Norma Nivia started her journey in the entertainment field when she became part of the Colombian soap opera titled ‘Yo soy Betty, la fea’ where she was part of the Ecomoda group.

• In 2023, she was cast in the Colombian teen telenovela titled ‘La Influencer’ in which she played the character of Laura.

  

• In 2025, Norma Nivia took part in the fifth season of the American Spanish reality television series titled ‘La casa de los famosos’ which was telecast on the Telemundo TV channel. The TV show is the Spanish version of the reality television franchise Celebrity Big Brother, which is an adaptation of Big Brother.

  

• Norma Nivia is the co-founder of the environment protection Non-Governmental Organization named ‘Shambala Comunidades Ambientales’, which aims at cultivating the environmental movement, making individuals more environmentally friendly, and achieving personal well-being.
