Some Lesser Known Facts About Shakthi Vasudevan

• Shakthi Vasudevan made his Tamil film debut in the early 1990s. He started his acting journey as a child artist in his father, P. Vasu‘s films.

• A few of Shakthi’s Tamil films as a child artist include ‘Nadigan’ (1990) in which he played the role of Prashanth, ‘Chinna Thambi’ (1991) in which he played the role of Young Chinna Thambi, and ‘Senthamizh Paattu’ (1992) in which he played the role of Young Bala.

• In 2007, Shakthi Vasudevan was cast in his first lead role Tamil romantic film titled ‘Thottal Poo Malarum’ in which he played the role of Ravi Thyagarajan.

  

• Shakthi took a break of 4 years from the films and returned in 2016 with the Tamil action thriller film titled ‘Tharkappu’ in which he played the role of Inspector Sakthivel.

  

• He has been part of many Tamil films and some of which include ‘Shivalinga’ (2017) as Raheem, ‘7 Naatkal’ (2017) as Gautham Krishna, and ‘Ala Ila Ela’ (2023) as Surya.

  

• In 2017, Shakthi Vasudevan was selected as a participant in season 1 of the Tamil reality TV show titled ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ which aired on Star Vijay TV channel.

  

• In the same year, Shakthi Vasudevan along with the actress Gayathri Raguram judged the Tamil reality show titled ‘Mrs. Chinnathirai’ which aired on Star Vijay TV channel.
