• His father was elected to the Nanded Municipal Corporation from the Bahujan Federation of the Republican Party of India.

• In 1999, he started working as a dentist at Guru Gobind Singh Medical Hospital in Nanded.

• He began practising law in the Bombay High Court in 2002.

• He has served as the president of the MAT BAR Association twice.

• In 2018, he challenged the reservation given to the Maratha community by the government under the category of Social and Educational Backwardness (SEBC), claiming that the reservation above the 50% ceiling limit was unconstitutional.

• While giving an interview in 2018, he was attacked by a person from the Maratha community outside of the Bombay High Court for challenging the Maratha reservation.

• His daughter, Zane, is named after the Buddhist concept of ‘Zen.’

• She was awarded the National Gallantry Award by the President of India because her advice of using a wet cotton cloth to breathe helped save the lives of 17 people after their building caught fire on August 2018.

• In 2019, he was disqualified by the Bar Council of India from becoming a member of any State Bar Council and for contesting elections in future.

• After he was released from Arthur Road jail on 8 April 2022 for participating in the MSRTC strike, he thanked the BJP leaders for helping him get out of prison. He further claimed that his life was in danger while he was in prison.

  

• He shared his experience of prison and claimed that he helped save the life of a police constable by giving him artificial respiration after he had suffered a heart attack as nobody else in prison knew first aid.

• He also claimed to have taught yoga and indulged in spiritual talks in the prison.

• In 2023, he challenged the decision in the Supreme Court but the Court refused to entertain the petition and he was asked to approach the High Court.

• He has handled several issues raised by students through his organisation, ‘Samyak Vidyarthi Andolan.’

• He filed an FIR in March 2023 after goods worth more than 4 lakhs were stolen from his office.

• In October 2023, his car was vandalised near his residence by the youth activists of the Maratha Kranti Morcha after he criticised activist Manoj Jarange Patil who was on hunger strike for the Maratha reservation.

• In May 2024, he claimed to have received a death threat over the phone. On 5 October 2024, his wife approached Mumbai police and filed a complaint after he received another death threat over the phone.

• In October 2024, he became a contestant in the Hindi TV show, ‘Bigg Boss 18.’
