• Aamna Sharif grew up in Mumbai.

  

• While growing up, she used to watch the Indian actress Madhuri Dixit’s films and from there she started developing an interest in acting.

• By the age of 6, she had decided that she would become an actress. She used to shoot her dance videos.

• She once shared that as she was from a conservative Muslim family it was difficult for her to convince her family to allow her to make her career in acting.

• While she was in her second year of college, she started receiving modelling offers for brands like Close-Up Toothpaste, Beetel Mobile phones, and Emami Cosmetic Cream.

• After completing her graduation, she worked in a boutique as a fashion designer for a few months.

• Aamna once shared that since her childhood she suffered from Acrophobia, a fear of heights.
