• Chris Carmack was interested in sports during his school days and played various sports such as football, baseball, and basketball.

• Later, he shifted his focus from sports to theatre and was part of several productions.

• He dropped out from the Tisch School of The Arts, New York University when the fashion photographer John Yannella offered modelling assignments to him.

• Some of his modelling works were for Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (A&F), Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, Elle France, and Guess Inc.

• After almost two years in professional modelling, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his interest in acting.

• He appeared as Luke Ward, one of the main characters in the first season of the popular television series The O.C. (2003) on the Fox Television Network.
