• Bharati Pawar (also spelt as Bharti Pawar ^[6]MyNeta) is an Indian medical practitioner and politician who was appointed as the Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare of India on 7 July 2021.

• She began her political journey after getting married to Pravin Arjun Pawar, whose father, Arjun Tulshiram Pawar, was a politician belonging to NCP.

• During her tenure as a member of Zilla Parishad in the Nashik district, Bharati focused on eradicating malnutrition and providing clean drinking water in the area.

• She was awarded the title of Best Women Parliamentarian by Lokmat Parliamentary Awards (2019).

• In 2021, she became the first female Union Minister from Nashik when she was given charge of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. ^[7]The Times of India

• At the National Family Planning Summit 2022, she revealed that India had achieved replacement level fertility, with as many as 31 States/Union Territories reaching a Total Fertility Rate of 2.1 or less. During the summit, she unveiled the India Family Planning 2030 vision document and launched the Medical Eligibility Criteria (MEC) Wheel Application, Digital Archive on Family Planning under the category of Digital Intervention, and E-Module of Family Planning Logistics Management System (FPLMIS). Additionally, she introduced the National Family Planning helpline manual, ASHA brochure and leaflet (Family Planning), and Community Health Officer (CHO) booklet.
