Some Lesser Known Facts About Pruthvi Ambaar

• As a child, Pruthvi Ambaar was interested in music and dance and dreamt of learning Michael Jackson’s moonwalk.

• His uncle, a dancer, did not encourage him to pursue dance as he wanted Pruthvi to focus on his education. However, Pruthvi started learning to dance by watching YouTube videos and shows. He perfected the moonwalk.

  

• He then participated in and won the ‘Great Karnataka Dance League,’ Karnataka’s first dance reality show, which brought him recognition.

  

• After that, Pruthvi Ambaar began working as a choreographer, but his parents did not approve.

• Later, he completed his Master’s degree in Mass Communication, aiming to do something related to communication.

• After completing his formal education, in 2011, Pruthvi Ambaar started working as ‘RJ Nagaraj,’ a radio jockey at Red FM in Mangaluru.

  

• His stint as an RJ boosted his confidence, leading to offers to act in Tulu television serials.

• In 2014, Pruthvi Ambaar moved to Bangalore and started working in Tulu television serials such as Sagara Sangama (2014) and Love Lavike (2015).

• In 2014, he appeared in a supporting role in the Tulu film ‘Barke’ alongside actors Ashwin Shetty, Srikanth, Balachandra, and Riya Meghana.

  

• In the same year, Pruthvi Ambaar appeared in a lead role in the Tulu film ‘Pilibail Yamunakka’ alongside actress Sonal Monteiro.

• He then went on to appear in many Tulu and Kannada films such as Yenchi Saav Maare (Kannada; 2014), Rajaru (Kannada; 2017), Pammanne The Great (Tulu; 2018), and DK Boss (Kannada; 2019).

  

• In 2019, Pruthvi Ambaar played the role of Adi in the Kannada film ‘Dia,’ and his performance in the film gained him recognition.

  

• He then appeared in many films such as 2 Ekre (Tulu; 2020), Sugarless (Kannada; 2022), Pentagon (Kannada; 2023), and For Regn (Kannada; 2024).

• Pruthvi Ambaar is a fitness enthusiast and goes to the gym regularly. He often shares pictures of his gym sessions on social media.
