Saurabh Dwivedi is a journalist and the founding editor of The Lallantop, a Hindi news and media web portal owned by the India Today Group. He is known for his ability to express thoughts on a variety of topics and issues, and also for his informal yet eloquent style of presenting news stories.

Saurabh’s paternal grandfather, Mataprasad Dwivedi (aka Mata Prasad Chamari), was a member of Indian National Congress (INC) and was an influential personality in the surrounding villages.

Saurabh Dwivedi, whose on-camera speaking skills are now widely appreciated by his viewers, during his childhood was a camera-shy person who resisted being photographed. He used to cry when someone tried to bring him in front of the camera.

Saurabh got married to his long-time girlfriend, Gunjan, after completing his studies in 2010.

Saurabh embarked on his journalism career as an intern with Star News in March 2007. Thereafter, he worked with many news companies including Live India (reporter), Times Group (as senior copy editor cum correspondent), Dainik Bhaskar (as news editor), and has been working with the India Today Group as a senior associate editor since June 2013. His venture, The Lallantop, which he jointly founded along with five other people in 2016, is also owned by the India Today Group.
