• Neelam Bisht is an Indian cricketer who plays for Punjab Women primarily as a bowler. She was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs. 10 lakhs at the auctions of the inaugural Women’s Premier League in Mumbai on 13 February 2023.

• As a child, Neelam often played cricket with a rubber ball in the backyard of her home.

• When her parents came to know about her passion for cricket, they enrolled her at the Little Master Cricket Club in Dehradun. At the academy, Neelam was trained under the coach Narendra Shah.

• Later, she joined the Nimbus Academy in Dehradun, where she trained under the coach Upender Rawat.

• Bisht began playing for Haryana Women at the age of 12, making her domestic debut at Patiala.

• In 2018, while Bisht was playing a match for Haryana against Railway (Indian) Women in the senior women’s game, she scored 33 runs.

• In 2018, during the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Trophy T20 Cricket Championship, Neelam played for India against Nepal in Tau Devi Lal Stadium, taking a five-wicket haul for India. India won the match by 62 runs.
