Some Lesser Known Facts About Gagan Arora

• Gagan Arora is an Indian assistant director and actor.

• He was born and brought up in New Delhi.

  

• He used to participate in various nukkad nataks and theatre plays while he was in college. He won various best actor awards during his college days.
  

  

  

• He started working as an associate producer at MTV India, on 2 July 2016. He worked there for almost a year, and then he worked as a content creator for an entertainment website Raw n Dumb.

• Gagan also owns a photography company named GA Arts. He is also working as a head photographer there.

• Initially, he worked as an assistant film director. During an interview, while talking about it, he said,
  

  Yes, there is just no fixed pattern and you finish up running around for almost 18 hours a day and the schedule can go on for 20-25 days. By the end of it, we were like zombies and that is when I took a break. It was then I got a call from one of my juniors from theatre who was then working with a lifestyle channel. They were looking for actors and suggested me to audition. I auditioned and then I got back to acting.”

• He has appeared in various Hindi TV series such as ‘Girls Hostel’ (2018), ‘4 Thieves’ (2020), ‘Basement Company’ (2020), and ‘Tabbar’ (2021). His role in the Tabbar was appreciated by the audience and critics. In an interview, he shared how he got an offer to act in it. He said,
  

  When I was offered this role, I met with a small accident and hurt my leg. So, I was like lo gya ek acchaa kaam haath se…but the makers planned it such that the things did fall in place with me limping for the earlier part of the series. But then, the lockdown happened and the work went on hold. I recovered in those months so eventually when we were back on the shoot post lockdown. I had to then recreate that limp-wali walk (laughs). Badi mehnat lagi…also the story was completely different from whatever I had done but the team’s conviction in me saw me through.”

  

• He acted in the Hindi short film ‘Padh Le Basanti’ in 2019 in which he played the role of DJ Kabir Singh.

  

• He was roped in the Netflix series ‘The Fame Game’ in 2022 alongside Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Kapoor.

  

• Gagan has been featured in many comic videos of channels like FilterCopy, Alright, and The Timeliners.

• He is a dog lover and has shared a few pictures with dogs on his social media accounts.

  

• He has also appeared in a few TV commercials like Mountain Breeze Strips.
