• Shweta Kawaatra is an Indian actress who became a household name after debuting as an actress in a StarPlus TV show titled Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii (2000-08).

• Shweta Kawaatra is a member of the Soka Gakkai (Buddhist religious movement).

• In 1995, she participated as a model for the Femina Look of the Year contest. She has been featured on the covers of many magazines including Gr8 magazine and Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
