• Parampara Tandon is an Indian singer, lyricist, and music composer who mainly works in Bollywood. She gained recognition for her collaborative work with Sachet Tandon; the duo is popularly recognised as Sachet-Parampara.

• Parampara’s love for singing was evident from a young age. Her father was instrumental in fostering this passion. Not only did he encourage her to chase a singing career, but he also joined her on stage at many events.

  

• In 2015, Parampara appeared in the singing reality show ‘The Voice India: Season 1’ as a contestant and became one of the finalists.

• Parampara viewed her participation in The Voice India (Season 1) as a strategic move towards her ambition in the Bollywood music scene. • Parampara Tandon and Sachet Tandon first met on the show singing ‘The Voice India: Season 1’, where Sachet advanced to the semi-finals. Though they lost contact after the show, they reconnected at a party thrown by Mika Singh. Instead of pursuing separate careers through various reality shows, they chose to work together. In 2016, they established themselves as a musical duo. Eager to showcase their distinctive musical style, they covered ‘Kive Mukhde To Nazra Hatawa’ and shared it on social media. Their performance was met with a wave of positive feedback, leading to demands for a full song. Motivated by the feedback, they enlisted actors Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty for a music video. The song was later released with the title ‘Tere Vich Rab Disda’, which struck a chord with audiences, cementing Parampara and Sachet’s place in the music world.

• After debuting as singers and composers in Bollywood in 2017, Parampara and Sachet wrote the lyrics of the song ‘Mere Baad’ from the film “Bhoomi.” Their significant impact continued in 2019 with contributions to the film ‘Kabir Singh’ for which they not only sang but also composed hit songs like ‘Mere Sohneya’ and ‘Bekhayali.’ In 2022, Parampara lent her voice to the female version of the song ‘Maiyya Mainu’ from the film ‘Jersey.’ This song became a chartbuster, dominating streaming charts across the country with millions of views even before the film’s theatrical release. The duo’s further Bollywood successes as singers include songs like the title track of the film ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ (2019), ‘Dilbara’ from “Pati Patni Aur Woh” (2019), ‘Mauj-E-Karam’ from “Hum Do Hamare Do” (2021), and ‘Ram Siya Ram’ from “Adipurush” (2023).

• Parampara has been involved in numerous albums and singles. In 2019, she sang and composed the songs ‘Jhansa’ and ‘Rani Teri Vodka’ along with Sachet. In 2021, she sang the song ‘Chhor Denge,’ which was also composed by her in collaboration with Sachet Tandon. In the same year, she collaborated with Tanishk Bagchi and Sukh-E to sing the song ‘Patli Kamariya,’ which featured actor Mouni Roy. Parampara, along with Sachet, lent her voice to many other songs in 2021 including ‘Chura Liya,’ ‘Shiv Tandav Strotam’ (Har Har Shiv Shankar), and ‘Shiv Panchakshar Stotra.’

• In 2023, Parampara sang and composed the song ‘Ram Siya Ram’ for the film Adipurush, which was released in Hindi and Telugu languages.
