• Nishant Dahiya is an Indian actor and model. He comes from a non-filmy background, and he has worked with many well-known Bollywood celebrities such as Ranveer Singh, Sushant Singh Rajput, etc.

• He spent most of his childhood travelling across various places in India with his father as his father was an Indian Army officer.

  

•  After completing high school, he graduated with B.Tech in computer science & engineering from Kurukshetra University, Haryana.

• Just like his father and elder brother, even Nishant wanted to join the Indian Army and serve the nation, but his mother did not allow him for it, so he developed an interest in acting and wanted to pursue that as a career.

• Soon after completing his degree, he auditioned for Grasim Mr India (2006), and he became the first runner up and won the best smile and Mr. Photogenic titles. This gave him a boost, and he developed a keen interest in acting and modelling. Soon after this, he shifted to Mumbai to pursue his career in modelling and acting where he started doing modelling for various advertisements and TV commercials. He appeared in a host of advertisements and it was then that he was spotted by Yash Raj Films. After that, he got a chance to act in movies.

• Nishant Dahiya has performed in many movies such as Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge (his debut film in 2011), Titoo MBA in 2014 in which he played the role of protagonist Titoo, Meri Pyaari Bindu in 2017,  Kedarnath in 2018, Rat Akeli Hai in 2020, and 83 (slated to be released in 2021)

• Bollywood film 83, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role who is portraying Kapil Dev in the film, is based on the ICC Cricket World Cup-winning team of India that fetched the trophy from West Indies in 1983. Nishant Dahiya is playing the role of former Indian cricketer Roger Binny in the movie, ‘the leading wicket-taker of the 83 World Cup.’

• He was featured in a song I DO by Shannon K who is the daughter of the famous Indian playback singer Kumar Sanu, the song was released in March 2020.

• He is considered to be a secretive person as he is not much vocal about his personal life. He loves animals such as cats and dogs, and he is often seen posting pictures with his pets on social media.

  

• He is interested in sports and video games. In September 2015, he bought PlayStation 4 as per his interest in video games. He likes adventure sports as well. He also loves to play with his nephew and he keeps posting pictures with him on social media.

• Nishant is a very patriotic person, and he takes full pride in coming from an army family as his brother, father, and grandfather all are from this field. He finds himself deeply connected with his military roots.
