• Bala Hasan is an Indian model and actor. He is well for working in the Tamil movie industry.

• Bala Hasan was inclined towards acting since childhood. He participated in various activities, acting workshops during his childhood to enhance his skills in the field of acting. Later, after completing his higher education from a reputed institution he joined a local theatre group and acted in various theatre plays.

• Later, he shifted his focus on working in movies and made his film debut in  2016  with Karthick Naren directed neo-noir crime thriller film “Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru.” The story of the film was based on a real incident. Bala Hasan played the character of Prem and received huge critical acclaim for his performance.

• Next, Bala Hasan appeared on the silver screen in the Tamil-language period action drama film “Asuran.” The film was directed by Vetrimaaran and was released on 4 October 2019 under the banner of V Creations. Bala portrayed the character of Rajesh Narasimman opposite Dhanush and Manju Warrier. The other cast of the film include Ken Karunas, Teejay Arunasalam, Pasupathy, Prakash Raj, Ammu Abirami, and Balaji Sakthivel. The film was among the ten Indian films to be screened at the 78th Golden Globe Awards (2021) under the Best Foreign Film category.

• In 2020, Bala Hasan featured in the film “Mafia: Chapter 1,” an action crime film produced by Allirajah Subaskaran and directed by Karthick Naren. Bala played the role of Varun, a Narcotic Control Bureau Officer, and gained huge appreciation for it.

• Bala Hasan rose to fame after becoming a part of the Tamil-language legal drama film “Jai Bhim.” The story of the film is inspired by a true incident that happened in 1993, which involves a case fought by Justice K. Chandru on behalf of Senggeni who strives justice for her husband, Rajakannu after he went missing from the police custody. The slogan “Jai Bhim” used throughout the film signifies “Victory to Bhim” referring to B. R. Ambedkar, an Indian scholar, social reformer and the chief architect of the Constitution of India. The cast of the film concludes Suriya, Lijomol Jose, K. Manikandan, Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh and many others. Bala Hasan got huge popularity after playing the role of a constable named Kirubakaran in the film.
