• Her father is an Indian, and her mother is British.

• She has acted in many theatrical plays including ‘Notoriously Abused,’ ‘Great Expectations,’ ‘The Crucible,’ ‘Balm in Gilead,’ ‘The Merchant of Venice,’ and ‘The Same Deep Water as Me.’ One of her best theatre plays is ‘The Village.’

  

• She appeared in the BBC One’s TV series ‘Wanderlust’ in which she played the role of Jennifer Ashman. The show was aired on 4 September 2018 and is available on Netflix.

I got a call from London. It said I got a part in The Witcher. I was like, ‘No way!’ I was really shocked and could not believe it. I had landed this role in production this big with Netflix. I was very, very excited.”

• She did a Diploma in Musical Theatre from the London College of Music.

Chalotra discovered her natural flair for showmanship pretty early on in life. She was pushed in front of her relatives by her father when she was a kid. “I think I was eight? We were having a family get together and he told me to sing an Indian song. And I knew, at that very moment, that I loved the attention.”
