  • After completing his secondary education, Shivankit was sent to a boarding school in Indore. According to Shivankit, he was admitted by his parents to the boarding school because he was undisciplined and disobedient in his childhood.
  • Since childhood, Parihar was fascinated by films and acting. He used to participate in various cultural functions at his school.

  • After completing his senior secondary education in Indore, he moved to Pune to pursue formal education. While he was pursuing his undergraduate degree in Pune, he attempted three entrance exams for admission at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune; however, he was not selected.
  • In 2011, Parihar shifted from Pune to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.
  • In an interview, Shivankit talked about his hairstyle and said that he started losing hair when he was twenty. Later, due to increased hair fall, he decided to keep his head permanently shaved. Shivankit said,

    When I was 20, my hair started falling. If hair starts falling at this age, then it seems that now we have become old, have become uncle type. Confidence starts decreasing. Advertisements in the name of baldness also come like this.I either like a full head of hair or a bald head. That’s why I keep a clean shave. Doesn’t seem to happen after an age, though. Confidence comes that yes, there are no hairs at all. The rest of the talent is there anyway. That’s why I say.”

  • Initially, Shivankit worked as a writer for the Star Bharat episodic TV show Savdhaan India: India Fights Back (2012). In 2013, he worked as a narrator in the Hindi short film Sirf Khuli Khidki.
  • According to Shivankit, during the initial days of his career in acting, he faced rejections in multiple acting auditions owing to his baldness. In an interview, Shivankit talked about this and said,

    Due to lack of hair on my head, I did not get many roles. still do not meet. there were many such roles which were denied due to lack of hair. A proper look is needed for the advertisement. Now I have stopped giving auditions for this.”

  • In 2014, Shivankit made his acting debut with the Hindi-language feature film Shuruaat Ka Interval, wherein he played the role of Ravan.
  • In 2015, Shivankit started working as a writer with the comedy YouTube channel The Viral Fever. In an interview, Shivankit talked about this and said that one of his friends introduced him to the YouTube channel. He said,

    I reached here with the help of a friend. I was given something to write, I wrote. The creative director liked the content. This is where my journey started. I have been working with TVF since 6 and a half years. Whatever I am today is because of TVF. I joined here just for fun. Thought I would do some work. I will act Didn’t know, will reach here today.”

  • In 2015, Shivankit worked as a writer for the Hindi-language short film Angry Indian. Subsequently, Shivankit wrote many mini-web series like Barely Speaking with Arnub (2016), TSP’s Rabish Ki Report, TVF Bachelors, and Sixer (2022).

  • In 2016, Shivankit made his digital debut with the TVF series Tripling, wherein he played the role of a service station attendant. In the same year, he played the role of Sabjiwala Shivankit in the TVF mini-series Humorously Yours.
  • In 2017, he co-wrote and acted in The Screen Patti mini-series Rabish Ke Report, wherein he played the role of Raja Rabish. Rabish Ke Report is a social satire YouTube show in which Shivankit spoofs Indian journalist Ravish Kumar. In an interview, Shivankit talked about how the TVF team came up with the idea of creating the parody show and said,

    Ravish is the only reporter out there who is making any sense. His own satire is so good. If you make a video on Arnab Goswami, he’s already very loud and has no sense of humour. So it’s easy to make a foolish character more foolish but it’s very difficult to make a spoof of a smart character like Ravish. So our struggle was that the man himself is so funny and has a great sense of satire, how do we make a spoof on him?” [3]The Indian Express

  • Shivankit, during an interview in 2019, talked about his popular comedy series Rabish Ke Report and said that the journalist Ravish Kumar knows about the parody series; however, he didn’t approve of the abusive language in the series. Further, in the same discussion, Shivankit revealed that the YouTube channel The Screen Patti was planning to cast Ravish Kumar in one of the episodes of the series ‘Rabish Ke Report.’
  • In 2017, he portrayed Amitabh Bachchan in The Screen Patti mini-series ‘Kyun Bane Crorepati.’ The parody video garnered more than eighteen million views on YouTube.
