• Mahaveer Prasad Saini is an Indian Para Athlete Coach. In January 2024, he was awarded the Dronacharya Award for mentoring para-athletes.

• Several international athletes, including two Olympians, have been mentored by Mahaveer Prasad Saini. More than 100 athletes that he coached went on to win gold at the Asian and national levels. For more than thirty years, Saini has coached athletes competing in the Paralympic division. Sundar Gurjar is one of them; he has medals from international contests such as the Asian Games and Olympics.
