Some Lesser Known Facts About Padam Singh

• Padam Singh was born and brought up in a middle-class family in the Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh.

• Since childhood, he was inclined towards acting. While he was studying in school and college, he participated in various acting competitions.

• In his teenage years, he used to bunk classes to watch films. He watched the Hindi film Sholay several times. He used to practice dialogues of the film at home.

• While he was in class 8, he memorised around 150 poems. He used to recite such poems in various school programs.

• His grandfather Shiv Ram Singh was called the “Bundelkhand Kesari” of Alha Jagat.

• After studying for 10 years in Delhi, he studied for 15 years in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. After completing his studies in Bhopal, he moved to Mumbai. After around six months of moving to Mumbai, he got a chance to work in a serial on DD National.

• While he was studying in college, he started a program called Rang Munch along with his friend Sanjay Srivastav.

• Later, he joined the theatre group Rang Vidushak. He also joined the National Theatre School.

• He acted in the 2008 Hindi TV serial “Bahubali” in episode 1.

• He has worked in a few Hindi films like Gangaajal, Apharan, and Khakee.

• He once shared that he wanted to make a mini film industry in Bundelkhand, Uttar Pradesh.

• Padam Singh has worked as an actor and producer in the 2018 Bhojpuri film “Damru.”

  

• Padam Singh gives credit for his success in the film industry to Swami Devprabhakar Shastri Dada Ji. He believes that he was able to achieve success under his guidance.

• He has played important roles in many films like The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Apharan, Ek Hasina Thi, Fida, Ek Sheher, Chak De India, Yuva, and Hostel.

• Apart from films, Padam Singh has acted in various TV serials like Kaali- Ek Agnipariksha, Mohe Rang Do Laal, Chalti Rahe Zindagi, and Mere Angne Mein.

• He has worked with various popular actors like Dinesh Lal Yadav, Pawan Singh, and Khesari Lal Yadav.

• Padam Singh has written a saga in Hindi on the seven battles fought between Alha Udal, Prithviraj Chauhan, and Kariya Munda. He received a scholarship from the Indian Government for his work.

• He is a big fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
