• Aashay Mishra is an Indian television actor and model.

• After graduating, he joined Nadira Babbar’s theatre group. A day before his performance in the theatre play ‘Jhumru Aur Jhumri,’ he got a call to appear as a model in the TV commercial of Paytm.

  

• Later, he appeared in various TV commercials and print advertisements. He has featured in the TV commercials of Pillsbury and Maruti Swift.

• He has acted in the 2017 Hindi web-series ‘Tantra.’

• He has also acted in the award winning Hindi short film ‘Pari and Pinnochio’ in 2019.

• He came into the limelight with his Hindi TV serial ‘Pyaar Ke Papad’ (2019) aired on Star Bharat.

• In 2020, he acted in the Sony TV serial ‘Story 9 Months Ki’ opposite Sukirti Kandpal.

  

• When he was in kindergarten, his paternal uncle got him enrolled into classical musical classes at Bhatkhande Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Bilaspur. He got training in the Indian classical music for almost eight years.

• His uncle, Tarun Mishra kept his name “Aashay” as his uncle believed that Aashay defines all the good things for them.

• He quit his C.A. studies in between as he was not able to understand a few subjects.

• In an interview, he shared that he had auditioned for the Bollywood film “The Sky is Pink,” but he did not get selected.

• He is a big fan of the famous Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan. In an interview, talking about his love for Shah Rukh Khan, he said,

I have been a huge fan of Shahrukh Sir since childhood. I like his style, his persona, acting skills and everything about him. There is no one who can romance like Shah Rukh Khan in this whole world. I was so lucky that I got to replicate his movie in one of the promos of the show. So getting into the shoes of DDLJ’s Raj was very overwhelming for me. I wish to meet and personally take lessons from him once.”
