• Shruti Marathe grew up in Baroda, Gujarat, India.

  

• After making her film debut with the Marathi film Sanai Choughade in 2008 and the Tamil film Indira Vizha in 2009, she went on to appear in many other films such as Naan Avanillai 2 (Tamil, 2009), Taptapadi (Marathi, 2014), Bandh Nylon Che (Marathi, 2016), and Munjya (Hindi, 2024).

  

• In the film ‘Rama Madhav,’ Shruti Marathe played the role of Parvatibai. A critic said she perfectly showed the sadness of a woman waiting for her husband, who died in war.

• In the 2016 film Budhia Singh – Born to Run, a critic praised Shruti Marathe as Gita, the wife of Biranchi. She acted well alongside Manoj and showed the emotional struggle of a wife and mother.

• In 2017, she made her Kannada film debut with the film Aadu Aata Aadu, which was a remake of the 2006 film Thiruttu Payale.

  

• Later, it was announced that Shruti Marathe would appear in a suspense thriller film titled ‘Portrait,’ which combines English and Marathi languages, alongside well-known actors Ajinkya Deo and Bhushan Pradhan.

• She has been a part of many theatre plays including Sant Sakhu and Lagnabambal.

• Shruti Marathe likes travelling to distant places in her free time.
