• Pranay Rane is an Indian Kabaddi player. He is known for playing for U Mumba in the Pro Kabaddi League since 2022.

• After finishing school, he went to Mumbai to study engineering at Rizvi College; however he couldn’t find time for Kabaddi during his engineering studies; because of his passion for Kabaddi, he changed colleges to M D College. There, he again started playing Kabaddi and took part in matches at both the college and university levels.

• After college, he started working at the Bank of Baroda. While working there, he discovered a local Kabaddi team called BPT and began playing with them. His big break came in 2022 when he joined U Mumba, a professional Kabaddi team in Mumbai, for Season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League.

• He made his debut in the Pro Kabaddi League in its ninth season. During season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League, he played a total of 11 matches during the tournament. He maintained a raid strike rate of 53 per cent and a tackle strike rate of 25 per cent. He earned 26 points overall in the tournament.

• In an interview, Pranay Rane revealed that Vishal Mane from U Mumba is his idol. He mentioned how surreal it felt to play alongside Mane on the same team, describing it as a dream turned into reality.

• Pranay Rane is a fitness enthusiast and follows a regular workout regimen to maintain his fitness and he often shares videos of himself working out on Instagram.

• In 2023, Pranay Rane was retained by U Mumba in the New Young Player category for Rs. 13 Lakh to play in season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League.  ^[2]My Khel
