• After birth, his parents reared him in Kuwait for five years.

• At the time of the Iraqi invasion, his family migrated to Bangalore (India).

• His father passed away when he was six years old.

• He was the head boy of his school, and when the students forgot to wear their house badges, he didn’t like to complain them to the principle, Instead, he helped them to buy new badges from a nearby shop.

• At the age of ten, he, with his brother Shree used to go to the snooker parlour after school. 

• At the age of eleven, he won his first State title, after beating his brother and mentor Shree in the final.

• During his childhood, he revealed his dream to the media that he would like to become a world champion in future.

• He is eighteen times world champion of both world snooker and billiards. 

• He won total – 6 Worlds, 3 Asian Billiards, 2 Asian Games Golds, 1 Australian Open and 5 National titles. 

• He is the only person in the world, who won the billiards and snooker IBSF World Titles, along with World Professional Billiards Championship.

• For his success, he gives credit to his brother Dr Shree Advani and coach Arvind Savur.
