• Disha Madan is an Indian actress, dancer, and social media celebrity.

• She was born in a middle-class family in Bangalore.

  

• Disha developed a great interest in dance at a very young age and when she was just three years old, she started learning Bharatanatyam.

• While in childhood, Disha learnt different dance forms from Bangalore’s Shivapriya Dance School.

• Later, she learnt dance from Dr. Sanjay Shantaram.

• In 2010, Disha participated in “Karnataka Vaibhav” in Singapore.

• She also attended the Karnataka Chitra Kala Parishath in Bangalore in 2012.

• Subsequently, Disha started the online dance tutorial platform, “The TipTap Movement.”

• She has even taught dance to college students.

• In 2013, Disha auditioned for the dance reality show, “Dance India Dance” season 4. She cleared the first two audition rounds and made it to mega auditions, however, could not make it to the show.

  

• In 2014, Disha won the dance reality show, “Dancing Star.”

• Disha made her acting debut in 2014 with the Kannada TV serial, “Kulbhadhu” in which she played the role of ‘Vachana.’

  

• In between the shots of Kulbadhu, Disha started filming funny and lip syncing videos on the Musically app (Later, changed to TikTok) and became popular. She had over 3 million followers on her TikTok account.
