- Anjum started shooting when she was in 7th standard.
- Initially, she got training through a pistol but later, her consistency was shown through a rifle in 3P events.
- Anjum was trained as an NCC Cadet and learned the basics of shooting from her NCC Unit Commander Colonel Chauhan.
- In 2010, she became a part of the Indian Shooting Team.
- Anjum has participated in almost 10 international competitions and is the winner of 7 international medals.
- During her five years shooting career, she has won over 50 national medals.
- In September 2014, she represented India in the 51st ‘World Shooting Championship’ in Spain.
- She is an expert painter and artist. Some of her artworks have also displayed in the prominent shooters’ club in Chandigarh.
- She sells her artworks at a low price through Instagram and even gives them free to her acquaintances, and friends.
- She started shooting with the inspiration of her father.
