  • He made his television debut at the age of 7 in an episode of the Colombian educational show, ‘Aprendamos de nutrición’ with his brother, Edgar Figueroa.
  • He grew up wanting to become a priest and served as an altar boy for 6 years after he turned 8.
  • His family suffered from a severe financial crisis after the death of his grandfather which led him to run away from his home.
  • He moved to Bogotá in 1969 to pursue a career in acting.
  • He is the first man to walk on a ramp as a model in Colombia.
