As a child, Priyanka Kadyan was poor at studies. When she was thirteen years old, she began playing kabaddi after one of her teachers insisted.
In 2010, she was selected for India Camp, but could not join due to family restrictions.
In 2012, Priyanka Kadyan played her first senior national kabaddi championship.

She represented India in the 2014 and 2022 Asian Games and won gold medals in the Women’s team.
In 2019, Priyanka Kadyan was part of the Asian Games organised in Nepal.
In 2023, Priyanka Kadyan was the vice-captain of the Indian women’s Kabaddi team that won a gold medal at the Asian Games organised in Hangzhou, China.
She has participated in many kabaddi championships such as the World Cup, Asian Games, Asian Championships, South Asian Games, Asian Indoor Games, and Beach kabaddi at the Asian Beach Games.
Once, Priyanka Kadyan said in a media interview that she woke up at 4 am and regularly practised kabaddi for two hours. She helped her mother care for their cows and buffaloes in her village.
She likes playing wrestling and shot put in her free time. Listening to music is her favourite recreational activity.
In 2014, Priyanka Kadyan played as a left-cover defender for the Murthal Magnets team in the JSG Women’s Yuva Kabaddi Series.
