• Mareena Michael Kurisingal has been trained in singing for almost 12 years in her childhood.

• Growing up, her career goal was to become an air hostess.

• She started her career in the entertainment industry as a model during college.

• After her debut as an actor in 2014, she played several supporting characters predominantly in the Malayalam film industry, such as Angel in Amar Akbar Anthony (2015), Sophia in Happy Wedding (2016), and Sherin in Chunkzz (2017).  One of the notable roles she played in her acting career was Anumol Xavier in the Malayalam film Aby (2017).

  

• She has also acted in several Malayalam short films such as Jeevanum Nidhiyum (2018), A Live Story (2020), and Maya (2020).

  

• After the Hema committee (an advisory committee appointed by the Kerala government to investigate and provide solutions to the issues faced by female actors) report was revealed in 2024, she opened up about her experience regarding the lack of amenities provided to the female supporting cast on a shooting location. The issue was much discussed on social media.
