• He was issued a Bar Manager Internacional JWC certificate in July 2012 and a Bar Manager Formador IBA certificate in February 2013 from the International Bartenders Association.

• He worked as a restaurant manager at a Grupo Monkey restaurant in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain from February 2013 till February 2017.

• He placed 9th at the Heineken World Beer Pulling Championships organised by Heineken in Amsterdam in 2015. He earned the nickname, ‘Pepe’ during the finals of the championship.

• On 6 November 2015, he completed the Heineken Star Serve Draught Master training programme in Amsterdam and earned the title of ‘Draught Master.’

  

• In 2016, he was selected as a bartender at a private, non-profit event titled ‘Esencia a ciegas’ (Blind Essence) was held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife where the guests ate blindfolded to display the quality of food and beverages of the Canary Islands.
