Some Lesser Known Facts About Sudheesh

• Sudheesh is an Indian actor and director who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. Sudheesh is known for appearing in the films Bhoomiyile Manohara Swakaryam (2020), Minnal Murali (2021), and Ennivar (2023). He is the son of veteran Indian actor T. Sudhakaran Nair.

• His father was a renowned Indian actor who performed notable roles in many Malayalam films including Gulmohar (2008), Khaki (2007), Pattabhishekam (1999), Bharatham (1991), Sadayam (1992), and Indian Rupee etc. Sudheesh has appeared in these films along with his father.

• Once, in a media conversation, Sudheesh shared that he learned acting from his father. He said that his father started acting in plays and solo performances when he was very young. Later, Sudheesh won a big prize for his solo performance in acting at the state level. After that, his father saw a movie audition advertisement in a newspaper and encouraged Sudheesh to apply for it. Sudheesh said,
  

  I was fourteen years old. I was going to the interview with my father. They were looking for a face to portray actor Ashokan Chetan’s childhood. Adoor Sir was looking for a face that was not a replica of Ashoka Chetan. That is how I became Ajay Kumar in the 1987 film Anantaram.”

  

• His elder son, Rudraksh Nair, appeared in the 2016 Malayalam film Kochavva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho as a child artist.

  

• In 1995, Sudheesh played the role of Nakulan in the Malayalam film ‘Avittam Thirunaal Aarogya Sriman.’
