Some Lesser Known Facts About Alex Wilson

In January 2008, she joined WOWK 13 News in Huntington as a morning meteorologist and worked until February 2010.

In March 2010, she joined FOX Carolina in Greenville as a morning meteorologist and worked until February 2013.

Some of the scholarships that she received while working at The Weather Channel are the AMS John R. Hope Endowed Scholarship in Atmospheric Science, the Joel N. and Peggy Myers Scholarship in Meteorology from the PSU Department of Meteorology and the John and Elizabeth Holmes Teas Scholarship from the PSU College of Earth and Mineral Sciences.

In March 2013, she started working as an on-camera meteorologist at The Weather Channel in Atlanta.

She is an avid lover of dogs and an advocate for animal adoption and welfare.
