Some Lesser Known Facts About Omkar Salvi
- Omkar Salvi is an Indian cricketer who represented Railways in the domestic circuit. He has worked as a coach for many teams including Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai senior team.
- He was interested in playing cricket since childhood especially fast bowling.
- He played many matches for different teams of Railways; however, he has never played for Mumbai senior team or the Indian national team.
- In 2016, he worked as the bowling coach of the Mumbai senior team where he trained many players including Shardul Thakur and Abhishek Nayar.

- In 2018, he became the assistant bowling coach of the IPL franchise KKR where he also worked at KKR cricket academy.

- In May 2023, he became the head coach of the Mumbai senior team for the 2023-34 Ranji season. His name was also discussed in 2018 as players liked his training acumen; however, he was not selected.
