• Shardul Bhardwaj is an Indian actor who has appeared in several Bollywood films.

• After Shardul graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India in 2017, he acted in a short film which was released in 2018. In an interview, he talked about it and said,
  

  But then I thought this (acting) is not the only thing I want to do. I didn’t see myself only as an actor, I wanted to be a creative artist.”

  

• In 2019, he played the role of Anjani Prasad in the film ‘Eeb Allay Ooo!. His performance in this film garnered him a nomination for best actor in a leading role (male) by the critics at the 66th Film Fare Awards in 2021.

  

• He has worked in several Bollywood films including Unpaused (2020) and 2024 (2021).

• Shardul played the role of Danny Dandekar in the crime thriller film Kuttey (2023). The film starred several popular actors like Arjun Kapoor, Radhika Madan, Tabu, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Naseeruddin Shah.

  

• Shardul enjoys photographing his mother and refers to himself as her paparazzi.

• In an interview, Shardul expressed his gratitude toward his teachers, and said,
  

  I owe a lot to the public-funded institutions I went to, my teachers like Keval Arora at The Players, Pushpendra Singh at FTII, and my peers there. Until I reached Kirori Mal College (DU) and more specifically to THE PLAYERS (KMC’s theatre society) I lived in my American low waist jeans wearing punk rock listening, economically and socially non-diverse bubble. I was doing theatre before KMC in school and in Durga Puja Pandals, I cherish that time too. DU, KMC, and The Players provided me with the want to look at my immediate context a lot more. Via theatre and English Literature (my subject in undergrad) I was able to expand the scope of my questions because of a new socially and economically diverse peer group and an environment of critical thinking and a lot of self-doubt in my first year.”
