Mohit learned acting skills from the Bharatendu Academy of Dramatic Arts in Lucknow, and there, he got a chance to act in the play (Bahadur Kalarin) of one of the renowned theatre personalities- Late Habib Tanvir.

Mohit has appeared in many Hindi movies like ‘Kismat Love Paisa Dilli’, ‘Tukkaa Fitt’, ‘Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi’, ‘Mohalla Assi’, etc.

In 2010, he worked in a Marathi movie ‘Jetaa’ in which he played the role of a north Indian boy.
