• Sushant Pujari is an Indian choreographer and actor. He has acted in movies such as ABCD and Street Dance 3D.

• Even though Sushant was born and bought up in Mumbai, his family originally hails from Udupi, Karnataka.

• He had a passion for dancing since he was a child.

• In 2003, he joined the “Cine Dancer’s Association,” which was a club for budding dancers in Andheri, Mumbai. He had become a member by paying a membership fee of 1 lakh rupees.

  

• His first stint in Bollywood was when he got the opportunity to be a background dancer in the movie, “Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena,” starring Fardeen Khan. It was during this song that Pujari met Bollywood choreographer, Remo D’Souza.

• Remo D’Souza is his idol and mentor. Pujari has worked with Remo as an assistant choreographer for eight years.

  

• Throughout the years, he has assisted several Bollywood actors such as Hrithik Roshan, Arjun Rampal, Varun Dhawan, and many more.

• Pujari has also appeared in several TV commercials such as Blackberry, Lux, TVC, and many more. He was also a part of a “LUX” TV commercial with Kareena Kapoor.

• In 2014, he appeared in the season 7 of the TV reality show, “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa” as a choreographer for the actress, Shweta Tiwari.

  

• Pujari got his big break as an actor when his mentor, Remo D’Souza gave him a chance to act in the movie, “ABCD: Any Body Can Dance.” ABCD was also India’s first dance film in 3D.

• Once, in an interview, when he was asked about the struggles that a dancer faces in Bollywood, he said-

For non-actors/dancers, Bollywood is the home of intense struggle, hard work and luck. I believe, there should be a godfather or mother in Bollywood. Without one, you cannot reach the pinnacle, as it is very tough in this competitive industry. Apart from this, your luck plays an important role”

• In 2015, he appeared in the movie “ABCD 2” starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhu Deva, and Lauren Gottlieb.

  

• In 2020, he will be appearing in the movie “Street Dancer 3D” starring Varun Dhawan, Nora Fatehi, Shradhha Kapoor.

  

• On 18 January 2020, he appeared in the “The Kapil Sharma Show.”
