Some Lesser Known Facts About Sana Khan

• Sana Khan was an Indian social worker and politician who had ties to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She became viral after her husband, Amit Sahu, also known as Pappu, murdered her in 2023.

• After completing her formal education, she became a politician and was actively involved in various social programs related to food donations and cleanliness campaigns.

  

• Sana Khan and Amit Sahu first met each other on Facebook in 2021. Their relationship grew, leading to their marriage in April 2023 despite opposition from her family.

• She took a private bus from Nagpur on 1 August 2023, to sort out a business disagreement with her husband, Amit Sahu. When she got to Jabalpur on 2 August 2023, she spoke with her mother but later disappeared. Her family became worried and reported her disappearance to the police.

• On 4 August 2023, a group of police officers from Nagpur came to Jabalpur to find her because her cell phone indicated she was at a house in Jabalpur. They arrested her husband on 11 August 2023, in the Gora Bazar area, accusing him of murder. ^[4]Aaj Tak

• Later, it was discovered that Amit had been using Sana to trap wealthy men for financial gain. Since March 2021, he had been sending her to different men to engage in intimate relationships and then taking compromising pictures or videos of them. Amit later became suspicious of Sana’s behaviour, and he became angry during a discussion about their financial dispute in August 2023 and struck her on the head with a stick, causing her death. ^[5]The Free Press Journal

• Amit later disposed of her body by throwing it into the Hiran River from a bridge near Meregaon village, which falls under the Belkheda police station jurisdiction.
