• Lara Gautier is a renowned French model who is known for winning the Miss Côte d’Azur title in 2020 and was later crowned the second runner-up in Miss France 2021.

  

• In 2016, she completed her bachelor’s degree, setting her sights on a future role as a marketing and communications director in hospitality or event management. She later moved to England for a six-month internship and enrolled in a dual diploma program during her second year of master’s studies in Scotland. • Lara’s beauty pageant journey began in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. After securing the first runner-up spot at the 2019 Miss Côte d’Azur competition, she gave it another shot in 2020, defeating 15 other contestants at the Center Expo Congrès in Mandelieu-la-Napoule to win the Miss Côte d’Azur title.

• Since 2018, Lara has devoted her time to volunteering at the NGO WWF, actively participating in the “Blue Panda” project. This initiative, carried out on a sailing ship, aims to raise awareness about preserving the Mediterranean region’s flora and fauna.

• Lara finds solace and rejuvenation in nature, enjoying her time by the sea or in the mountains. She says, “We have the advantage of never being far from both here! I am a big fan of nature and escape, that’s where I recharge my batteries.”

• Growing up, watching beauty pageants was an annual family tradition. Later, her grandmother often encouraged her to participate—a suggestion that ultimately piqued her interest and led her to explore that world.

• Lara shares a close bond with Miss Provence, April Benayoum, who has faced anti-Semitic attacks on social media. In support of her friend, Lara expressed, “I have no words… It’s intolerable. She doesn’t deserve this, no one deserves this. These people pour out their hatred for free, they must be punished. Whatever it is, she shone during this evening, I hope she will not give them any importance.”

• She is quite ambitious and has an eagerness to learn, though she acknowledges that dealing with stage fright is a personal challenge. Overcoming her introverted nature, especially prevalent during her teenage years, required significant self-improvement. She has made tremendous progress in developing self-confidence.

• The 2016 Nice attacks left a profound impact on her, as her entire family was present at the Promenade des Anglais that fateful night. The incident overshadowed her graduation celebrations, leading her to be mature before time. Despite the trauma, she feels grateful that her loved ones were unharmed, and the experience made her realize the value of cherishing life.

• Raised in the countryside near Nice, she enjoyed a childhood filled with nature and animals, fostering a strong connection to the sea. Her scuba diving adventures in the Mediterranean opened her eyes to the critical importance of environmental conservation, a cause she passionately supports.

• At home, she adopts sustainable practices such as using photovoltaic panels, composting, selectively sorting waste, and employing natural cleaning agents, all in an effort to lead an eco-conscious lifestyle.
