Some Lesser Known Facts About Niketan Sharma

• Niketan Sharma is an Indian actor, writer, and director. He has worked in many theatre dramas and web series. He became popular after playing the role of Naveen Shetty aka Gambhir in the web series Cubicles.

• A few months after his birth, his family moved to Delhi. While he was in college, he wanted to become a Chartered Accountant (CA); however, he joined his college theatre group Players and later dropped the idea to pursue Chartered Accountancy.

  

• He learned the basics of acting from the retired staff advisor of Kirori Mal College’s theatre society, The Players, and English professor, Keval Arora.

  

• Niketan moved to Mumbai from Delhi in 2014 and did an acting course from 2014 to 2015 at the Drama School in Mumbai. He later turned into a filmmaker and started writing and directing theatre plays including Bone of Contention in 2020 and Photo Copy in 2022.

  

• He later started producing theatre plays through his production house named NOW Productions. Niketan has performed many shows at the prestigious Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai.

  

• He acted as KK in the web series Candy which streamed on Voot in 2021.

• Whenever he is not acting, he gives monologue acting workshops named Solo.
