  • Ansiba Hassan never wanted to become an actress. In an interview, she revealed that when she was young, her brother saw an advertisement for the reality show ‘Screen Test’ aired on Asianet Plus and told their mother about it. Her mother advised her to take part in the show. She was selected in the top ten and won the title of the most popular actress.

  • In 2018, she wrote and directed the Malayalam short film ‘A Live Story.’ In an interview, she said she was hosting the show ‘Comedy Super Nite’ on Flowers TV when she decided to direct the short film for her college project. The cast of the show advised her to shoot the film professionally and not on her mobile phone.

    Since a young age, I used to watch movies irrespective of language. Regional language films interested me the most and I just enjoyed watching it especially the ‘mass-masala’ ones. After watching movies, I used to narrate the story to my friends, who later out of curiosity, went ahead and watched them.”
