• DP Manu is an Indian track and field athlete who specializes in javelin throw.

• In 2022, he threw a javelin really far with a personal best of 84.35 meters and won a competition called the Inter-State Championships in Chennai. Because of this, he was declared the fourth-best Indian javelin thrower ever.

• DP Manu’s mother and father are farmers, and they have a coffee farm in Hassan, Karnataka.

• In June 2022, he won the Indian National Championships. Then he went to the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and finished in fifth place.

• In 2022, he threw javelins farther than 80 meters in five out of nine competitions. Then, in July 2023, at the Asian Athletics Championships in Bangkok, he threw over 81 meters and earned a silver medal.
