• Bryson Battle hails from Harrisburg, North Carolina, USA.

• He started singing at the age of 6.

• In an interview, Bryson revealed that he was diagnosed with vitiligo, a skin condition, when he was 16 years old. This diagnosis caused him to lose his confidence. However, his grandmother supported him in facing the challenges of this skin condition, which also encouraged him to participate in musical shows.

• Apart from singing, he is also passionate about acting and learning musical instruments.

• In 2021, he participated in a musical theatre show titled “Jesus Christ Superstar”; for this, he won the best actor award in the Charlotte area and the Jimmy Award. He also earned a $25,000 scholarship for his higher studies in college. 

• After getting the scholarship, Bryson Battle enrolled at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee to study musical theatre.

• As a member of the Boston Conservatory, Battle participated in various plays and shows. Once he performed the song titled “Good Deed”, a musical number from the hit Broadway musical titled Wicked.

• In 2025, Bryson Battle participated in a musical show titled The Voice Season 27. His performance on Donny Hathaway’s song “A Song For You” earned him a rare four-chair turn.

  

• By the end of his performance, coach Michael Bublé couldn’t stop himself from raving over Battle, and he gave him the greatest compliment ever. He said,

“You might have the greatest voice I’ve ever heard in my life. I sing that song every night in my shows, and I’ve never sung it that good. I would love to ride with you, man.”

• Bryson chose John Legend as his coach on the show The Voice Season 27.

• Throughout the competition, he showcased his versatility with great performances. However, he was eliminated during the semifinals.
