Initially, he worked as a theater artist and did several plays in which he won the Best Actor Award twice and Best Director Award once.

After that, he hosted the popular TV Game Show ‘Jeeto Kashi Jeeto.’

He worked in 2 different languages like Hindi and Bengali.

In 2004, he participated in the talent show ‘India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj’ Season 1 and ended up as the 5th runner-up. He also won the Best Actor Award in Comedy.

He got a breakthrough role in 2007 in the TV serial ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ as Pranay.
