 Some Lesser Known Facts About Sana Makbul

• Sana Makbul grew up in Mumbai.

• Her mother is a Malayali.

• As a child, she tutored other kids for Rs 100-200.

  

• Sana got her first phone, a Nokia 1100, in 8th grade.

• At 15, she received her first paycheck of Rs. 10,000 for a Britannia advertisement.

• In 2009, she appeared in the reality show MTV Scooty Teen Diva.

  

• In 2012, she competed in Femina Miss India and won the title Femina Miss Beautiful Smile.

• She had her first heartbreak in 2017.

• In 2021, Sana appeared in Colors TV’s reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 11 as a contestant and reached the semi-finals. She received Rs 2.45 lakh per episode for her appearance on the show.

  

• Sana and actor Vishal Aditya Singh, who were both on the show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, were once rumoured to be in a relationship. They, however, clarified that they were just good friends. Vishal compared their bond to Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, while Sana said,
  

  I am a burger, he is vada pav. It’s very simple. Humara milaap hain hi nahi (There’s no possibility of our union).”

• Sana once shared a great bond with Rahul Vaidya, a singer and music composer; however, their friendship ended in 2021 due to conflicts between their fans on social media. In an interview, she mentioned how Rahul’s decision to unfollow her on Instagram seemed ‘petty’ and ‘childish’ to her.

  

• On 28 July 2023, Sana took to Instagram to share her battle with hepatitis. She revealed that she was diagnosed with the condition in 2021 and has since then improved from F3-F4 to F1-F2.

• In 2024, she appeared in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3,’ which premiered on JioCinema Premium. She won the show and received Rs. 25 lakh in cash and a trophy.
