• Catalina Gorostidi grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

  

• Since she was 17, Catalina has struggled with anorexia, an eating disorder that causes extreme fear of weight gain and restrictive eating. At one point, she also experienced bigorexia, a disorder that causes an obsession with muscle gain and body image.

• In 2016, when she was an R1 (a first-year paediatric resident receiving specialised training), Catalina became fascinated with the idea of being a staff physician in paediatric inpatient care.

• After graduating from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, she began practising as a paediatrician.

  

• She moved from Buenos Aires to Santa Fe in 2021.

• On 29 March 2021, Catalina began working as a paediatrician at Hospital de Niños Dr Orlando Alassia (Children’s Hospital Dr. Orlando Alassia) in Santa Fe. On the same day, she joined Hospital Mira y López as a paediatrician in Santa Fe.

• On 18 May 2021, she began working as a paediatrician at Hospital Materno Infantil San Roque in Paraná.

• On 1 November 2022, she officially became a staff physician at Hospital de Niños Dr Orlando Alassia.

  

• In 2023, Catalina appeared as a contestant in the reality show ‘Gran Hermano Argentine 11,’ which aired on Telefe.

  

• Later, she began working as a television commentator for Gran Hermano Argentine’s shows like ‘La Noche de los ex’ and ‘All Access’ (DGO).

  

• Catalina participated in Telefe’s ‘Gran Hermano Argentine 12’ in 2025.
