• Harmeet considers Rahul Dravid as his cricketing idol.

  

• Harmeet was nine years old when he started playing cricket at Shivaji Park Gymkhana.

• At 16, Harmeet received a scholarship of Rs. 50,000 from the Ramakant Achrekar Cricket Foundation for his consistent performances.

• Harmeet played for Mumbai U15s in the 2008-09 season in the Vijay Merchant Trophy.

• Harmeet was praised by Ian Chappell when he referred to him as India’s next Bishan Singh Bedi.

• In 2009, Harmeet took 7 wickets for Mumbai in his debut first-class match against Himachal Pradesh. He also represented Mumbai at the U-19 and U-16 levels before his senior debut.

• Harmeet was part of the 2012 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup squad and helped his team to win the tournament by taking six wickets in four matches.

  

• Harmeet played for Tripura in the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy in which he took thirteen wickets in eight matches.

• Harmeet moved to the United States in August 2021. In his initial days, he did odd jobs and also gave cricket coaching before playing professional cricket in the United States.

• Harmeet was included in the squad of the United States national cricket team for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. He took the first wicket of the tournament in the opening match against Canada.
