• Ángela Aguilar was born in Los Angeles while her mother was accompanying her father Pepe Aguilar on a music tour.

  

• She hails from the family of ‘La Dinastía Aguilar’ (The Aguilar Dynasty).

• Since the tender age of 3, Ángela Aguilar, along with her brother, used to accompany her father on his tour throughout Latin America.

• One time while touring with her father, Ángela’s father put a little microphone on her and made her sing one particular part of a song that he was singing at that time.

• Ángela Aguilar was named after her great-grandmother Ángela Márquez Barraza Valle who was her father’s paternal grandmother.

• Ángela is the only one among her other siblings who was raised as a bilingual dual citizen in California and Mexico.

• When she was 7 years old, Ángela visited a recording studio and made a cover song of Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ and Bette Midler’s ‘Wind Beneath My Wings.’

• In 2012, at the age of just nine years, Ángela along with her brother Leonardo Aguilar released a Mexican album titled ‘Nueva Tradición’ which consisted of a total of 8 songs out of which 4 were sung by Ángela and other 4 by her brother.

• In the same year, she partnered with the United States-based dual 501(c)(4) and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization named ‘Voto Latino’ in order to encourage Latino Americans to vote in American elections.

• In 2018, her family launched an equestrian (horse riding) musical-style tour across America. She accompanied her father, uncle Antonio, and brother Leonardo.

• Ángela Aguilar’s first solo album titled ‘Primero Soy Mexicana’ was produced by her father Pepe Aguilar. Her album also included a song that was sung by her grandmother Flor Silvestre. In 2018, this album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Regional Mexican Music Album.

• In 2017, she started performing live with her father.

  

• She first met her husband Christian Nodal in 2018 when he was performing at one of the concerts that was hosted by Ángela’s father Pepe Aguilar. She admitted in an interview that Christian’s personality and how he treats Ángela’s family is what made her fall in love with him.

• In 2019, Ángela Aguilar was appointed as the Artistic and Cultural Ambassador of Zacatecas, Mexico by the then Mayor Ulises Mejía Haro.

• In the same year, she released an exclusive cover performance of the English song titled ‘Shallow’ which was originally sung by the American singer Lady Gaga. This was the first time that Ángela Aguilar recorded music in English.
